Young Girl Learning To Write, by Camille Corot

SCRIBO Young Writers' Collective is a virtual membership for aspiring writers between the ages of 10 and 18. The aim of this group is to provide a safe space for young writers to share their work and receive constructive feedback, to ask questions and troubleshoot problems, to grow in the habit of writing even a little bit every day, to connect with their fellow young writers, and, for those who are up for a challenge, to tackle National Novel Writing Month in November.

The membership includes:

  • monthly challenges—writers will receive detailed, individual feedback on their challenge submissions

  • daily writing prompts to help develop the habit of writing every day

  • a monthly live Q&A session on Google Meet—some of the topics are goal setting, finding your voice, inspiration, and more

  • quarterly write-ins

  • NaNoWrimo preparation and support

Our young writers' membership also includes discounted rates for additional editing/proofreading services, as well as a free ticket to our poetry, essay, and scriptwriting workshops.

The regular membership is R250/US$15 per month. But if you register before 31 December, 2024, you will only pay R200/US$12 a month.

To register, complete this form, or email brightsparktutor@gmail.com if you have any questions.
