S2E3 The Book Drive: Feminism, Fantasy and Madiba

Writer's picture: Sarah SpringSarah Spring
Two Women in car

In this week's episode, Lebo and Sarah discuss their holiday reads. Lebo shares about how her eyes have been opened to the pervasiveness of feminism and contrasts it with the exciting call to biblical femininity. Sarah tries to talk about 10 books at one time and attempts to summarize how fantasy books can be both escapist and revitalizing for the everyday. There is a brief interlude of wheezing laughter and we share what we are reading next if you'd like to get a hold of a copy and join in the conversation! As always, we hope our thoughts are helpful and will encourage you to read more!
